APP kids this summer

It's a beautiful spring day here in May, warm and sunny. I thought might be a good time to start a discussion on sharing what you are doing with your APP kids this summer. Classes or camps you like? Games you might recommend? Resources online or offline that other APP parents might want to know about? Other ideas? Please share!

Ours will be going to overnight scout camp for 1 week, and two week-long day camps: Museum of Flight and Science Center animation.

In between, we may take a road trip to Yosemite.

All other weeks will include relaxing at home! But I do usually create a master Fun ideas list of things to do close to home, and of course, a chore list for every family member.

UW have day camps for Elementary to Middle School kids. My son did it last year and it was pretty good. We will probably sign him up again this summer.

we're doing two months of daycare (sigh, yuck, evil necessity), then one whole month of glorious unschooling.

It isn't cheap, but this will be my son's 2nd summer at the idTech camp @ UW. We've also got some stuff @ Seattle Childrens Theatre, which he's enjoyed a lot over the years.
